    I'm on my second pair of Equalon 4. Before, I wore Brooks Summon. I am a heavier runner (195 lbs) and overpronate pretty severely. Before, I was wearing neutral shoes without support. After several running injuries the chiropractor told me that I needed to switch to a full support shoe. I picked this one because it claimed to have the most support and to be suitable for heavier runners. I run a lot (60 - 70 miles per week) and this shoe has served me well. The support and comfort are both good and it holds up for 500 miles pretty well. My only complaint is that when I trail run or run on otherwise uneven terrain, the shoe slides around a little too much and could potentially cause blisters... At the end of the day, though, I have not been injured since I started wearing this shoe and that is the most important thing to me.
